The Belgian GP was sad and boring, to be honest. The race had an action-packed start, with Webber failing to start off the line and with the crash between the holder of the most grands prix raced without winning a world title and the two times world champion Fernando Alonso, but it was over for me when the juvenile and brain-less Sebastian Vettel made a stupid error in a failed attempt to overtake the world champion Jenson Button, losing for both drivers very important points in their drivers championship title hunt.
The german changed the line of his Red Bull twice behind the englishman (who was struggling with a minor front wing damage), and in a sudden jerky way, moving out of the dry line to the wet line, coming back to the dry line, thus resulting in a complete loss of grip, causing the bizarre crash that we all saw on TV. The poor Button, who had nothing to do with that, was the victim.
And the german clown festival wasnt over yet. He destroyed Liuzzi’s front wing after overtaking him, had a flat tyre, finished the race out of the points zone.
He apologised to Button after the race. Vettel, apologies don’t give back to Button the 2nd place points that he lost and had guaranteed in his hands. This idiot needs to go back to the childrens driving school; it’s not the first time Vettel does mistakes that Vettel does unimaginable errors for someone willing to be a world champion.
Meanwhile, Hamilton had a walk in the park, except for a trip over the gravel trap (almost identical to Shanghai 2007), taking the win and the drivers championship lead, followed by Webber and the surprising Renault warrior, Kubica. Alonso closed the belgian clowns festival when he spun on last laps and crashed. His team-mate didnt threatened none of his rivals in this race. Maranello in crisis, Woking celebrates, Milton Keynes in amber alert.
And the F1 circus continues happy onto Monza, for another world title battle between the five clowns.
